Now I had been getting a bit more active at this point and I guess the guy was just making a move. Certainly there are a lot of hands I could lay down here but QQ was not one of them.





Not really a bad beat because the money went in pre-flop. It was just that the flop looked perfect and then of course a runner-runner straight killed me. Feeling good though because I was able to just laugh this one off and that means I`m getting back on my game.

Funny thing was  a few hands later I push my shortstack from UTG with 78o, get called by JJ and flop trip 8s. Needless to say, I made no apologies    Looked like I might make a recovery but it wasn`t to be and I was out a few hands later.
