| The Team Alternate Mini-League (OFC/GGE) | |
 | This Mini League will consist of the next 8 (pro-US) OFC and GGE events.
Both the Freeroll and Buy-In events will be part of this Mini League.
The winner will have this award permanently in his/her sig line and 2 HOF points. |
We'd like to announce a Mini League for the players that chooses to play for Alternate Poker Forum (Team Alternate) in the coming OFC and GGE events! The point scoring system for these games is similar to the one that we have already been using from the old MLP Freeroll League in the past. Just that this time we have made some adjustments to make it even more fair and hopefully reflect the different results even better!
Note : Scores will be included from previous My-Local-Poker games prior to the forum name change.
The idea behind this Mini League is to promote our members to play for us in these events which will hopefully mean bigger numbers for Team Alternate and by that also more players going deep in these events!
The Winner of this Mini League will have a permanent Award added to their signature line here at the forum. This Award is also worth 2 points for the forums Hall of Fame 
This will be a series of the coming 8 OFC and GGE events. League table points will be awarded based upon your finishing position at qualifying tournaments - Next and Final Event : OFC #44 (click here for details). Please read extra rules and information below the Points System Table !

Extra Rules and Information :
- The league table is updated after each game by our super swede muratore. If you have any queries about the scoring he'll be happy to answer any PM's.
- The league will run over the next eight (pro-US) OFC/GGE events starting with OFC #37 at Reefer Poker 19/7. Both Freeroll and Buy-Ins are counted towards the League Table.
- To be eligible for points, you must have signed up to play for our forum and also posted your screen name in the respective OFC/GGE thread as before.
- All APF members are welcome to come join Team Alternate and play these games with us at any point throughout the eight game season. The more the merrier !
- In the event of a tie, the player with the most top 30 finishes over the 8 games will be placed higher, if they are still tied it will go to most final tables and finally best average finishing position.
- Forthcoming game details may be subject to change. Although the OFC/GGE games normally occur once a month, we are not in control of their schedule and cannot make guarantees of "if" and "how many" will occur. As long as they are held at US-friendly sites for anyone to enter, then league points will be available.

Welcome everyone to the Team Alternate Mini-League (OFC/GGE) !! 
we are hoping this will be a good way to promote these games and of course get more of our members to take part in the OFC fun we usually have around these events!
I think it is hard to in words describe the sparkling atmosphere in the chat room, the anticipation before the events begin, the support from the rest of Team APF everyone gets, not just those that go deep, but also for those that need a comforting hug or just a nice word after a bad beat.
The winner of this Mini-League will also be awarded an Award to go in his/her signature line, and this Award will also be worth 2 points in the HoF-table 
The game to start this Mini-League off is OFC #37 at Reefer Poker, registration is already open!

Reefer offers a real good offer for all depositors that play this event! all that have deposited and play will recieve FREE $10, and that is for an event that only cost $5.50 to enter 
Everyone is a winner!!
In this Reefer event there will also be $1000 added to the prizepool + the winner goes on a cruise

Yep, this one is all muratore with a little help from us backstage.
I got to make another snazzy little award for your sig lines  and we just thought this would be a nice ongoing thing running every 8 eligible games and hopefully will encourage a few more to join us in Team MLP.

The Team MLP Mini-League kicks off today with the OFC game at Reefer Poker.
Mura's posted a nice little warm-up piece for us here.

sooo....
..did i put a curseon Team MLP when launching this league
3 games in we have only had 6 ppl finishing in the league scoring places
thank you all for playing 
and i guess i cant complain tooo much either when we have players like BlackTyson that wins the forum a freeroll with her finish. and players like Arsenal28, HOUSECATS and Ramster that happily offer others a transfer to be able to play in the buy-in 
i guess the idea of this league wasnt so bad after all

i just tried, but it wouldnt let me.
if you are able to deposit and play todays, you will get 10 back. but i guess depositing is hard for US players

a special mention goes to DangerMouse for being so close on winning the league.
Well played everyone in the last few OFC events, another season will be launched of this league as i feel it has been a great atmosphere in the chat room during the games and alot of friendly competition going for the top places from the forum players
