i would like to have another MLP xtra buy in game like on monday or tuesday.. or have maybe two.... one for the NORTH AMERICA TIME and one for The Euro time.. and yes anybodycan lay in both... but like to see maybe like at site like pokerstars,abslute ultimatebet or fulltilt .. or even rotate the sites..but make it like us accepatbe site....just sometimg differnt besides using the cake and merge system on a regualr basis.. something that people who want to to play poker but not always can make it on thursay may another day.. l ike have one on monday or tuesday....

2 things here :
1, we don't really have a big enough membership yet to start splitting games which means that weekends will always be the best possibility for most of our members to join in our games.
i would like to have games on every day of the week but we will have to wait with that for now.
2, in terms of the sites, much of this is down to sponsorships. pokerstars, full tilt and ultimatebet are notoriously difficult to get in with unless you are a large forum. absolute, i have tried without success but will try again in the future.
as you notice, on occassion we have games on other sites (eg. Poker4ever this month) but it's always a question of balancing quality, money and only US friendly sites, plus we feel that generally members prefer that we stick to the same sites and only move them around on occassion.
the money for these events doesn't grow on trees either and you have to bear in mind that on occasion, we have to dig into our own pockets to get some of our regular games funded. that is also why your donations are so appreciated and why sponsorships are so crucial to us !

Just a thought - really enjoyed the couple of games I have played on the Thursday cake nights - but as I have had another commitment every Thursday have not been free for many.
Is there any chance of a similar tourney on say Mondays or Tuesdays? I know most players have heavy obligations at the weekends and the early part of the week seems pretty empty. think it would be something to look forward to but perhaps just too much extra work for the organisers.
Anyway, just a suggestion

you're very welcome to make a poll adam but we won't necessarily have extra buy-ins every month and sometimes the poker rooms have a say in this depending on sposorships.
if you do make a vote, you should probably note that the game would have to be at about the same time as Cake games on Thursdays or maybe one hour earlier. this is roughly the only time mid-week that could work for everyone, especially those in normal 9 - 5 jobs.
i will be more than happy to try more mid-week games (when we have them) if you get a good response. if you could start a new thread on this in the Wish List section, i will also note it in a newsletter. 
p.s. actually i'm interested in this so i'll set the poll up myself.

ok... if I am comming up with to many idea just dont shoot me ok!!! I guess its way of me when i come up with one I dont want to forget so I write it down,, whether you listen or use the idea its ok witrh me as long as I got my idea across..
ummm this is for the league buy in and xtra game... sometimes I am not able to make the game or I can be 15 mins late or so but i still want to play the game... even if I am in a little late..just wondering if we can like regstration like a day or to early... i am sure that will also get more members to mlp because they see people have sign up and then they check out the forum to see what it is about and some of them might like the forum..... I understand the freeroll polices that is fine with me on how it is.

Should there be a certain amount of people in a game to win a medal? I think 10 or more people in tourney should get a medal and if there is less maybe like a ribbon or something!!!

just start a new thread in the "Wish List" section for new ideas that are not concerning the leagues addam. every season break i come back here to look through suggestions and also things we have implemented over time and it really helps if posts here are concerning the league games and set-up only. the last thing i want to do is delete good ideas because they are in the wrong section.
as for the medals, i think 10 is a good number, yes !
we won't be doing the ribbons, etc though. i think the fact that the tournies will be graet value for money should be enough.

Hey maybe we can have some leagues games on cake.. I use epassporte and it was good when the merge had now it doesnt have it.. I really dont play on there but on cake has it...it just be another way of getting some members...for the weekend...

I don't know if this idea would be poss, or even if MLP members would want it but.
What about making 1 or 2 only, of the buy-in / horse league games a R/A OR if this is not poss, how about making 1 or 2 of the extra games a R/A. 
It may attract more members to play.
It may increase the prize pool
I kown it could introduce some loose play but hay, there is that kind of play in the league now anyway.
Players don't have to use the option if they don't won't to.

i wouldn't be against this but as i've stated elsewhere we may be taking a break from the cake games due to lack of sponsorships there. also we have a completely different set of players at cake and merge still seems to be the most popular overall of the places we have played at.

i must admit i would generally be against making any of our games rebuy or addons, and definately not for the league games.
i would suggest you try a poll though and if enough are interested we could try an extra buy-in in the future. if people want it, i'm sure we could figure something out.

I guess its beeen the most popular.. but we havent had a cake game on the weekend so its kinda hard to compare the two when the merge... we have on the weekend and cake on thursday on workday
on Knowwhen questions...
maybe we can have a rebuy leagu but no money added..and have a limit on rebuys or maybe we can join another forums rebuy league that might be struggling
or what about abslute poker? well maybe vegas24 that uses ablsute poker you might be able to get leagues games.....

all you have to do is click on the link and it takes you right to the tournament thread.
failing that you can download the APF Toolbar which has all the dates and start times for APF Tournaments and a bunch more.

Hey Ramster, when I first read your suggestion I thought it was a good idea... but then an unusual sensible thought came to my mind.
There is too much room for a cock up with person responsible for the calendar converting between their local time, EST or wherever the site chooses to base it's time. 
It gets real crazy when the clocks change too, as America change before the UK and part of Europe change after the the UK. 
Best thing, is to always check the lobby time on the day of the game, in case we have made an error.
