Anyone Folding Here?This is a hand from a tourney I played a couple of nights ago. I`d been playing very tight but even so I was very surprised when my opponent (The short-stacked player in the BB) folded and showed me his hand. I don`t think I could have made the lay down he did and I certainly wouldn`t have shown my cards. I`ve put my hand in a spoiler so you can look at the hand and make a decision before knowing what cards I was holding.

Tricky one that. How many were left and when did it pay.
If as you say you were playing tight they may have put you on a couple of big cards or bigger pp. I could go either way on this.

your hand range in mid position could be very wide, tight or not, with only top 3 paid, & 9 left,
you can't fold here when you're in the BB with 88 with that small chip stack...
& whollllllllly crap, wow, what a sign of weakness flashing a pair of snowmen there...

I think I call with the 8's because I should be ahead pre-flop. Plus you send a message that you will not be bullied around. lol
