Brian wins his 12th medal after a classic heads up with xTENSEx



29 players started in the 7th game of the Buyin Leagues 5th season, & to be honest its still a really open table.  
With 15 points for the win even a new player has a chance to make the all important top 5, & with a big push may be able to catch the consistent JR who's currently leading the field.

brentmiester was first go in this game & a further 11 players left in the first hour leaving xTENSEx holding a huge chip lead & blackTyson on the short stack

Final Table

After some nice play the final table got together & Vegasjj was first off loosing out to Whitetops trip Jacks
After that there was a long bout of cagey play, followed by some big hands & big suckouts, including my Trip tens all in against Jr's KK  
Ramster then lost a coin flip with Ray & went in 9th. & after getting unlucky & crippled with JJ swoop was to finally go in 8th

We entered the 3rd hour with the the Top Posters Freeroll starting & White Tops was next out in 7th loosing to a BB special & Ray was 6th.

Final 5

The final five battled it out for a long while but eventualy JohnFarmerBell, JR & Knownuffin left the party with cash in pocket.
This left Brian & xTENSEx Heads Up, & I managed to come out on top

Grumbling unsportsmanlike congrats Brian  

The site went through a really frustrating phase of freezing up on us and sitting me out. When there was four left, I had stayed alive by the skin of my teeth and was even in good shape with I think 6K to you 14k as chip leader;

Picture my face ... ( :smt087 x   x   = Me ) as I picked up pocket aces from the BB but was sat out, able to see it all happen, but could not press any buttons.

You limped into the hand, and bet the low flop having hit top pair and showed me your pair of nines, and there was nuffin I could do but...   and  

I could have had class, I could have been a contender I could have been a somebody, instead of a bum... :q6:
