A great run of cards. And you gotta ride 'em while they're comin'. But I don't understand why you want to push against someone who has a stack size similar to yours in that last hand. Is that you wanted him to have to decide whether or not to put his tournament life on the line? Were you trying to push him out? Did you think he was trying to steal? Or did you put him on a hand?

Why would i not want to put them to the sword in this situation
I'm the one with the hand and the decision should be on them
If i run into AA then so be it
I dont think calling here woulda been a good move
The only time i can see a call here is if i'm short to mid stacked with aggressive players behind me looking to squeeze
IMO it was them that made a marginal call for nearly all their chips
Would you have called off nearly all your chips there
With the stacks being so close i dont think i would have

i have to agree with pushing here
he has raised to 8k, a normal reraise is often 3*raise, that makes it 24k, not much point in saving those extra 10k you got behind there so might as well chuck them in there too
and KK is a hand you want some action with as well...
didnt work out this time, but looks you played a good game and probably will have a good shot the next time you play one of these.
gg well played

with KK, no way I would only call here either, all in baby...only 1 better starting hand, and AK, well, you don't see too many fold that hand, although when it's off suit, it's only the 10th best starting hand...mind you I have seen pro's fold it when they think they've run into KK or AA...

You all have a lot more gamble in your blood than me I guess. If I were short stacked or out of postion then ok, I push. How many times have we been at table where AA meets KK? Too many for sure.
You've seen pros throw away AK? That may be, but I've seen play KK in position too where they didn't just throw it all in the middle and say so be it. Even if no aces hit the board, maybe you don't get all his chips, so what?

TBH Mik i dont see the relevance of that hand there
It is a totally different situation from the one i posted
I was facing a raise before me
Cunningham was leading out
Also this was a cash game where i would also play this hand in a different way
