League points system
Should 2 players end on the same points, the player with the most wins from the 4 games will be placed higher in the table, if still tied we will look at most 2nd places, then 3rd places etc. Important Note : This league is open to all Registered Members of the Alternate-Poker Forum. If you wish to take part in the Pot Limit Holdem Mini-League and receive the passwords, you must post your Doyles Room Screen Name in this thread prior to 2 hours before any given game start ! Should you come in after that time, we unfortunately cannot guarantee your particpation but please PM to PoolDemon and we will see what we can do. yep, looks like HOUSECATS just fell a couple of points short in the final game. nice of DM to make it exciting by going out first ...what a sportsman.
i'll leave the final scoring and awards to mura when he's back online but for now i believe congrats are in order - well played DangerMouse. |

Yeah talk about dumb. I knew all I needed to do was score a few points and HC would have to win the game to take away the title. My plan was to just play steady and solid. Instead I got a bit cute with a flopped 2 pair and gave HC a cheap turn that turned out disastrously for me when he spiked a set. I knew I should have folded to his checkraise but despite my brains warnings my hand clicked call and that was it I was out. Not only was I out I`d given all my chips to the one guy I really didn`t want to have them 
Nice to pick up another award after wrapping up the OFC league on Sun. It would have been a perfect week if I`d won the razz yesterday. |
