|
|
He would be a question of mine in connection with the software.
For me quasi after all hands on a 50% burdened the processor the program.
I was not able to play it always normally because the application was frozen off until a time so.
Not for long, but sometimes already switched on the auto-fold. (two of my good hands went away so grrrr)
As I was watching -in the firewall log- Bodog sent the reports at this time always onto a server.
Did the same one if I turned off the antivirus and the firewall.
Did somebody face this problem already? Is something an idea?
My system:
CPU: Pentium Dual-Core T4200 (2GHz)
RAM: 2 GB + 512MB swap file
GPU: Mobile Intel 4
OS: XPHome+SP3 + daily update
LAN: 50/30 Mbit
Virus and firewall protection: Eset Smart Security v4.0.467.0
thx! |

It occurred to me yesterday OFC-n.
possibly yet so much, that at what fewer players were the problems more rarely was found.
Maybe, that their server did not like the many players? |

i've not often heard of many software issues with Bodog, i've never experienced freezing or disconnections ...perhaps some others that play there could comment. _________________

It may be an issue with your Internet service provider. We have a similar problem with the merge sites. If you can login using a different ISP it may give you a better idea of where the problem lies. _________________

thx the idea, but the two ISP is differ (Miklosik and Me) and the problem is same.
Indeed my IP is static. I would not be looking for the problem at my service provider so. |

I have been playing on Bodog for a couple of years and never had a problem until yesterday. I kept losing connections and going to auto fold. Same thing happened today in the OFC buy-in. Very annoying. _________________

Yep, I hit problems too. Software froze and went into autofold. I had to log out and log in again a few times.

looking more likely that this was the case although i can't imagine that the buyin numbers were that high. _________________

I've heard of that happening on other sites. Even the mighty PokerStars mega servers can struggle when there are lots of people playing. _________________ I haven't failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. - Thomas Edison (1846 - 1931) |

Yep I had a few instances where the software hung for a few seconds. Not as bad as some others have said but it was quite irritating. I doubt the problem was overload but it was almost certainly something at their end that was causing the problem. _________________

THX all the reports!
I see it so then the problem not occurred at me only, this for me tranquilliser and proves that something may have happened on their side. software error, overload...
For me the question now already it, that nearest, how the normal function can be guaranteed.
Somebody did not read something possibly in their forum from this problem? |
