Frequent Player Points (FPPs)
FPPs are used to earn bonuses and Gold Chips. This is how you get FPPs and as a result how you get your bonus money and Gold Chips.

Earning FPPs Rules
You must play on a real money table. There must be rake generated during the hand You must be dealt cards during that hand.

You earn as many FPPs as there is rake on the table as long as you are dealt cards in that hand. For instance, if the rake on the table is $0.75, you will earn .75 FPPs as long as you were dealt two cards in the hand, regardless of whether or not you bet. You can earn a maximum of 3 FPPs per hand and the calculations are accurate to the penny, so if your table raked $2.99, you will receive 2.99 FPPs.

A second way that you can earn FPPs is by paying the entry fee for a tournament. For each dollar worth of tournament fees you pay, you earn 7 FPPs once you are finished the tournament. Just like Real Money Games, the calculations are accurate to the penny, so for a $0.50 tournament fee, you will receive 3.5 FPPs.

Power Poker FAQ

Why Power Poker ?
Power Poker is an excellent new site on the Cake Network, sharing it's large player base and offering all the same benefits as it's sister sites. It seems that our forum members like this network and i wanted to find a newer site with a good sized player base which would maximize our chances for sign-ups and give me the possibility of building a good relationship that will hopefully culminate in plenty of sponsored games in the future.

Of course that part will be really down to you guys!


How Good Is the Bonus Offer ?
I think most of us have the bigger Cake Network sites and it is only recently that some of the network has decided to offer the 33% rakeback deal on top of the standard bonus deal. If you don't already receive rakeback at a Cake Network site, then this is even a better reason to download Power Poker through the forum as this will be a lifetime benefit at the site. The bonus offer is standard for the Cake Network so the rakeback deal really is a nice bit of sugar on top.


What About The Software ?
Most of us know that the Cake Network sites have really improved in terms of software and reliability.


What Sealed The Deal ?
I have been reading very positive things about Power Poker over the recent months but wanted to be sure the site was here to stay. As it turned out, our old rep from Poker Nordica started work there some 3 months ago and as far as i am concerned, Chris is one of the very top reps i've ever had the pleasure to deal with and i can't speak too highly of the treatment he always gave the forum.

It's down to him, that we have been offered an introductory freeroll for $500 and i'm sure if we can show him a good response, then more games will follow.


Does That Mean We Won't Have Games At Other Cake Network Sites ?
Not necessarily.
If it is possible to book more games at Doyles Room for instance then of course i will, but we have to face the fact that it is hard for us to generate a large player base at such an established site and unless we are achieving a good number of new sign-ups and/or depositors playing at the site each month, then it is hard for them to justify any sponsorship. I cannot complain though as they have been more than generous to us in the past.

If we are really lucky then perhaps we can even get both rooms going ....we'll see!

Power Poker are happy to inform all players that they will be paying rakeback (to those eligible) on a weekly basis starting Wednesday this week.

On the 29th of July they will pay out rakeback earned in the period from the 1st - 28th of July and then on a weekly basis every Wednesday after that.

i have never had a rake back deal b4
so i may download it from APF in a week or 2 and start playing with you guys again

Update News From Power Poker

No need to miss out on the action! Multi-tabling just got sweeter. We have introduced synchronized breaks across our entire tournament schedule. This means that all tournaments breaks will occur at the same time so you can reward yourself with a full 5 minute break.

All tournament breaks will take place at 55 minutes past the hour, every hour. Grab a snack, make that call or just sit back and relax.

Our synchronized break schedule includes:

• Tournaments in late registration.
• Tournaments within the first blind level.
• Turbo tournaments within the first two levels of play.

Gold Stacks

PowerPoker is proud to introduce Gold Stacks, our newest and biggest rewards program for all players!

Collect your Gold Chips and start building stacks - the faster you complete your Gold Stack, the greater the prize. The more stacks you complete, the more you climb up the level ladder and the rewards always get sweeter.

Gold Stacks pay out instant rewards when you collect enough gold chips to complete a stack.


Gold Stack Rewards

As you earn Gold Chips you are building a Gold Stack. Every completed Gold Stack is worth rewards. The faster you fill a Gold Stack the more rewards you will reap.


Gold Stack Levels

As you complete stacks you will also go up in levels. Some levels require more than one stack to finish the level. The higher the level, the bigger and better the reward you get for completing a stack. Lower levels reward Gold Chips. At higher levels you’ll receive pending cash bonuses. At the top levels you receive direct cash bonuses for completing Gold Stacks.



Gold Stacks Stick

Once you make it to a Gold Stack level, it’s difficult to fall back. The only way you will go backwards is if you fail to earn at least three Gold Chips over the course of two back-to-back months. In that case, you will be returned to level 10. You will NEVER lose a level if you are under level 11.

Gold Stacks Rules

* Only Gold Chips earned through real money play are valid towards building Gold Stacks.

* Gold Stacks Rewards are instant and require no action by the player.

* Players must earn a minimum of three Gold Chips within a two consecutive months to maintain their current Level. Players who fail to meet this requirement fall back to Level 10.



Note : The Gold Stack program applies across all the Cake Poker Network.
