A New season starts with this weekends games at our favourite site Power Poker

We will try to update this thread as we go along during the game on saturday and sunday. We also hope that you will all come in and tell us how you did, what place you got, nice suckouts, amazing hands and all other potential drama that happened at the tables.

Got crap for hands for the 1st 1/2 hour then get 8h,9c in big blind. One caller. Flop is 5, 6, 7 with 2 spades. I bet 3x pot, caller reraises all-in I call and he hits the nuts flush on the river. Out in 615th.

damn blinds were so high, I pushed in late position with AJ, still had enough chips that only a decent hand should have called, the BB, silly donkey, had the utter crap hand of AK, AND HE CALLED ffs, can't belive it held up

won't be playing today's game, feel like utter crap, just wanted to wish those that are GOOD LUCK

Wow, was that nerve wracking! I was on the bubble for almost every $ amount transition and managed to eke my way past. On final table my push w/ AQ os didn't hold up to pocket 7s and I went out in 8th place. (I think I was in 8th at the time anyway.)

Update

Unfortunately swoop was down for playing with another forum so we did not score any points for his 8th place finish. He did try to change this before the game but was obviously unable to succeed.

Congrats on the finish nontheless.

So we have a small problem of the league points as swoop did inform me of this error before the game. As far as i am aware, the OFC have no problems changing which forum you play for as long as you have e-mailed them before the game which i believe swoop did. Provided he can gets this changed, i will naturally still award the league points but i don't think it's fair to the other players that we award full points to a player that didn't play for Alternate Poker.

I'll wait until you've heard from the OFC before deciding anything.

There's no money involved for the league, so in the end, it's not a big deal. A shame if you guys don't get your freeroll but not the end of the world ...fingers crossed eh !
